I am Scott Jessiman, a photographer based in East Lothian, and I've been behind the camera for around 22 years. Scott Jess Media is my property photography and video business, covering East Lothian, Midlothian and down into the Borders.

I capture homes the way I'd want my own shown: carefully lit, true to the space and honest about the rooms. I use a flambient technique, blending flash with natural light, so interiors look bright and clean with accurate colours and real views out of the windows. I edit everything myself, from stills in Lightroom and Photoshop to walkthrough videos graded in DaVinci Resolve.

As well as photography, I offer walkthrough video, drone photography and video, and floorplans. I measure every room with a laser and sketch the plan in pencil on graph paper before drawing up the final digital version. It takes a little longer, but accuracy matters.

Years of photographing the East Lothian coast means I know the area, its light and the best times of day to shoot. Away from property, you’ll find me along the coast or roaming our amazing landscapes creating beautiful scenes with my camera.
